Minister Zameer donates Rs 1.5 lakh after students' request

Bengaluru: In a gesture of support and encouragement, Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan, responsible for Housing and Minorities Welfare, graciously contributed Rs 1.50 lakh towards the sponsorship of a job fair organized by BMS Women's College.

A group of students met with the minister on Wednesday, requesting financial assistance as the event, scheduled for July 21, requires a budget of Rs 10 lakh.

The students highlighted that the fair will witness the participation of 60 companies and attract 20,000 candidates from 50 colleges.

Responding to their appeal, Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan personally donated Rs 1.50 lakh and presented a cheque as a symbol of his support, wishing the event success.
