Depressed over harassment, woman hangs herself

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Depressed over harassment by her boyfriend, a 21-year old woman allegedly committed suicide at her house in Mallasandra village of North Bengaluru.

The deceased was identified as Asha. It was revealed that she was in a relationship with her boyfriend, Avinash for a couple of years.

It is also said that her family disapproved of this relationship and attempted to fix her marriage with another person.

When Asha asked Avinash to end their relationship, the youth got upset and allegedly started harassing and issuing threats to her.

Unable to bear the depression, the woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself on Tuesday at her residence here. Bagalgunte police have taken up a case and are probing it.
