7 EVM control units found in Dudapanahalli during demolition

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: During the demolition of a house in Dudapanahalli, located in the Doddaballapur taluk of Bengaluru Rural district, seven electronic voting machine (EVM) control units were discovered.

The house belonged to Shivakumar, an engineer working at Nirmiti Kendra in Doddaballapur.

These EVM control units were previously used in the 2018 elections and had been discarded. In response to the findings, Tahsildar Mohana Kumari conducted an inspection at the engineer's residence and confiscated the units.

Subsequently, the tahsildar handed over the units to Deputy Commissioner Shivashankar, along with a report outlining the incident, for further legal action.
