4 IPS officers, including DCP Gowri transferred

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government on Wednesday transferred four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers including the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Administration, Bengaluru.

According to the notification, Vartika Katiyar, serving as Superintendent of Police, State Crime Record Bureau, Bengaluru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted as Superintendent of Police, Internal Security Division, Bengaluru vice SR Siri Gowri.

DR Siri Gowri IPS has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, Bengaluru vice Dr Anoop A Shetty IPS who in turn has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Cyber Crime.

SN Siddaramappa, IPS, (KN: 2005) has been appointed as Inspector General of Police and Commissioner of Police, Belagavi City in the upgraded post.
