Mitra and friends to distribute movies

Bengaluru: Actor Mitra, who has also made a mark as an entrepreneur has ventured in to film distribution business.

The first-film under Manish & Mitra Entertainment they are distributing is Diamond Cross. The teaser of the film was released earlier this week.

“Manish is a friend who is a businessman from Hospet. He wants to enter the film industry as a producer. When he discussed it with me, I suggested that he first distribute good movies, gain some experience in the film business and then become a producer. Thus was born Manish & Mitra Entertainment. There are many good films being made and new film makers need good distributors,” Mitra said.

Diamond Cross is directed by Ram Deep and produced by Nagatihalli Cine Creations. Manish, who was present at the teaser launch of the film said, “The advice given by Mitra is good. We started working through reverse play; first distribute good films, then produce movies. Now as a first step we are releasing this film.”

Director Ram Deep said Diamond Cross is based on cyber crime and Ramachandra Babu has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. The film stars Roger Narayan, Rupika, Rajat Annappa, Manu KM in the lead roles.
