UT Khader to receive 'The Great Son of India' award

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: UT Khader, the Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, will be honoured with the ‘The Great Son of India’ award by the Indian Conference of Intellectuals on Sunday.

The award will be presented during a ceremony at the India International Centre in Delhi. Justice V Gopala Gowda, former Chief Justice of Odisha High Court and Supreme Court, and national President of Indian Conference of Intellectuals will preside over the award ceremony.

Chhattisgarh Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichanan will participate in the programme and the English translation of his autobiography ‘Battle Not Over’ will also be released.
