Many crashes throw B'luru-Mysuru road users in tizzy

Bengaluru: A series of accidents occurred on Sunday evening along the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway, specifically on the Maddur Bypass Road near Kodihalli.
The collisions involved a KSRTC Rajahamsa bus and a Maruti Swift car, resulting in two individuals sustaining serious injuries, while four others in the car suffered minor injuries.
The incident took place when the Rajahamsa bus, travelling from Mysuru to Bengaluru, collided with the moving car on the Maddur bypass road near Kodihalli. The impact caused the car to hit two other vehicles ahead, leading to injuries to the two individuals.
Promptly, local residents provided assistance and swiftly transported the injured to the public hospital in Maddur. As a result of the series of accidents, traffic on the highway came to a standstill for over half-an-hour.
The stranded cars caused disruptions, further complicating the situation on the expressway. Authorities are currently investigating the causes of the accidents and taking necessary measures to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
