Honest staff return item left behind by passenger

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The driving staff of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation has once again shown honesty by returning the item left behind while travelling in the bus to the owner.

While travelling in BMTC Uttarahalli Unit-33 bus, a female passenger left a mixer grinder worth around 7000 rupees in the bus itself while alighting.

Later, the driver noticed that there was a mixer grinder in the bus and brought it and kept it in the unit. The passengers were then contacted over phone and their belongings were identified with the help of security personnel of the BMTC unit.

In this way, once again the transport company drivers and operators set an example for others by returning the items left behind when passengers have to travel in the bus.

Further, the employees of the organization and the public congratulated the drivers and operators of Uttarahalli Unit 33 for their honesty.

A transport corporation official also demanded that the government and the management board should take steps to grant fair wages to such honest staff.
