Bengaluru: With Congress MLC B.K.Hariprasad’s comments on the ‘replacement’ of the CM becoming a major issue, Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Shivakumar went to his house and held talks with him in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

According to sources, the DyCM spoke to him for around half an hour. Though details of the discussion were not available, it is said that Shivakumar appealed to the miffed leader not to make any statement in public which would tarnish the party’s image and also embarrass state leaders.

The MLC was asked to approach him anytime and not to speak anything against the government or Congress leaders.

It is said that the feelings of Hariprasad would be brought to the notice of the high command and his seniority and contributions to the party would be recognised. He has not been inducted into the state cabinet despite his seniority
