KRS water level touches 111 feet mark

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Inflow into two dams, Krishna Raja Sagar in Srirangapatna Taluk of Mandya district and Kabini Dam in H.D. Kote taluk of Mysuru District has reduced.

However, the water level Is increasing slowly. According to information reaching here, the water level in KRS Dam stood at 111.54 ft as against the maximum level of 124.80 ft. While the inflow into the dam was 26,135 cusecs, the outflow had been reduced to 1427 cusecs.

The present storage of water is 33.299 tmc as against the total capacity of 49.117 tmc. Meanwhile, the water level at Kabini reservoir had been maintained at 2282.46 ft (maximum level 2284 ft).

The inflow into the dam was 10,756 cusecs and the outflow was 6000 cusecs. The current storage of water is 18.52 tmc as against the maximum capacity of 19 tmc.
