Alert RPF official saves elderly from getting crushed

Mangalore, NT Bureau: An alert Railway Protection Force (RPF) official saved Shankar Babu, 70, from getting crushed by a train. The incident happened at Mangalore Central Railway Station on July 27.

Babu was attempting to board a slow-moving Malabar Express, but he lost his balance while trying to enter the train.

He held onto the grab handle as he couldn't board the train. RPF official Prakash, who was standing nearby, was witness to the happening and came to Babu's rescue.

Prakash prevented Babu from being crushed by the train and pulled him to safety, although Babu sustained minor injuries to his fingers.
