2 more trains cancelled due to landslides

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: South Western Railway (SWR) announced that two more trains had been cancelled, four more had been partially canceled and another diverted on account of a landslide in Uttara Kannada district that occurred on Wednesday.

The landslide had occurred between Castle Rock – Caranzol stations of Braganza Ghat section of Hubballi Division, SWR Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Aneesh Hegde said. SWR General Manager Shri Sanjeev Kishore visited the site of the landslide on Wednesday with a team of senior officers to monitor the restoration efforts, Hegde added.

On Wednesday, four trains had been canceled and six had been partially canceled while another had been rescheduled.
