3 arrested for ‘repeatedly raping’ minor Dalit over 4 yrs

Dakshina Kannada: Three people have been arrested for allegedly raping a Dalit minor girl repeatedly in Vittal village. The arrested have been identified by the jurisdictional police as Akshay Devadiga, 24, Kamalaksha Belchada, 30, and Sukumar Belchada, 28.

It is alleged that the three accused allegedly raped the minor girl separately. As per the complaint, they raped her frequently in different places for the last four years.

A case has been registered at Vittal Police Station under Pocso Act and Prevention of Atrocities on Dalits Act in this regard.
