Unruly miscreants torch vehicles in V'nagar

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Four parked two-wheelers were set on fire by some unidentified miscreants in Mariyamma Street in Vasanthnagar in the early hours of Sunday.

The incident was captured by a nearby CCTV and the footage has been now obtained by the jurisdictional police. The police suspect that the men were under the influence of drugs.

The footage showed that the miscreants committed the crime around 5 am.

Locals alleged that the miscreants committed the act after consuming ganja. Three bikes and a scooter were completely destroyed while another scooter and a car which was parked next to the two-wheelers were damaged in the fire.

The High Grounds police have taken up a case and are gathering information from locals to trace the miscreants.

Efforts are on to identify them through the footage, an officer said.
