Bengaluru: Former chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai exuded confidence that the party high command will take a suitable decision regarding the appointment of Leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly after August 15.
Bommai said he has gone to New Delhi to meet state BJP MPs and during this visit, he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President J.P.Nadda and discussed the current political situation with them.
“We discussed preparation for the Lok Sabha polls, style of administration of the Congress government and plans to launch agitations against the state government. Soon, the BJP will launch a massive protest against the failures of the Congress Government,’’ he said.
