Bengaluru: A month after the shocking double murder of the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a private company in the city, the Amruthahalli police filed a 1350-page chargesheet to the court in connection with the incident.

On July 11, Aironics Media MD Phanindra Subramanayam, 36, and CEO Vinu Kumar, 47, were hacked to death by an exemployee and two of his accomplices.

Probing the matter, the police arrested the accused Santosh, 26, Joker Felix alias Shabarish, 27 and Vinay Reddy, 22, initially.

However, a detailed inquiry revealed the role of the rival business owner, Arun, who was also arrested later. Arun was running a company, GNet and had plotted to eliminate the two Aironics top officials through Shabarish and his accomplices.

Arun has been named as the prime accused in the chargesheet. In the 1-50 page chargesheet, the police have included the statements of employees of both GNet and Aironics.

The police have also named 126 witnesses and said that more than 100 items have been seized.

“We wanted to send a clear message and that is why we have filed the chargesheet in 30 days. A team of 25 police officials and other staff were involved,” a police officer said.
