Egg, chikki and banana scheme for school kids launched in Mandya

Bengaluru: The state government’s ambitious programme for distributing egg/banana and peanut chikki among students of government and aided schools was launched at Hoshalli Government High School in Mandya district on Friday.

Primary and Secondary Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa launched this programme in the presence of Agriculture Minister and Mandya District-In-Charge N.Cheluvarayaswamy.

The government will provide eggs to children studying in government and aided educational institutions.
