Rahul to launch Gruha Lakshmi in Mys

Bengaluru: The Cong government’s much-publicised freebie, ‘Gruha Lakshmi’, will be launched by former AICC President and Waynad MP Rahul Gandhi in Mysuru on August 30.

Minister for Women and Child Welfare Lakshmi Hebbalkar said the scheme will be launched in Mysuru on August 30.

“I will be going to Mysuru for the inspection of the place and to hold discussions with the ministers and legislators of Mysuru, Mandya, and Hassan districts. The Mysuru programme is being finalised to suit the dates for Rahul Gandhi. The decision to hold this programme in Mysuru had been taken in consultation with CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar.
