Chikkamagaluru gets new Superintendent of Police, Uma Prashant transferred

Chikkamagaluru: The state government has recently announced a administrative reshuffle by transferring Uma Prashant, who has served as the Superintendent of Police in Chikmagalur district for the past two years.

The new appointment brings in 2021 batch IPS officer Amate Vikram as the new SP for the district.

In an official order issued on Tuesday by the Under Secretary of the Administrative Reforms Department of the state government, Amate Vikram has been designated as the new Superintendent of Police for Chikmagalur district.

As per the government’s order, Uma Prashant has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police for Davangere district.
