One dead, two injured in accident on E-city flyover

Bengaluru: A person was killed while two others were severely injured after a container truck rammed into a goods carrier on the Electronics City flyover in the city's outskirts on Monday night.

"The injured were stuck inside the debris and we had to cut open the vehicle to rescue them," a police officer said.

The identity of the deceased has not been established. It is revealed that a Bolero goods carrier had broken down, so had stopped on the flyover.

The accident took place when the Bolero was being towed from the spot. A speeding container truck rammed into it.
