Woman alleges sexual harassment, church priest files counter complaint

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: An FIR was registered at Banaswadi Police Station against a church priest after a woman alleged sexual harassment by him.

In her complaint, the woman stated that the priest had been making threat calls on her mobile phone for rejecting his advances.

The victim also stated that she had informed the church authorities about it, but no action was taken by them.

Later the church priest filed a counter complaint against the woman and a few others stating that he is being wrongly accused by the woman.

He stated that there was a misappropriation of funds by several members who wanted to dismiss him from the trust committee.
