Traffic advisory for PM's visit on Saturday

Bengauluru, NT Bureau: In view of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to ISRO, along with VVIPs on Saturday, elaborate traffic arrangements have been made to ensure smooth flow of traffic to the city.

Issuing a traffic advisory on Thursday, the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) said that certain traffic restrictions and diversions are being implemented here.

The road users are hereby advised to use alternative roads and avoid the following roads between 4:30 am and 9:30 am on August 26.

Old Airport Road, Old Madras Road, MG Road, Cubbon Road, Rajbhavan Road, Bellary Road (Mekhri Circle), CV Raman Road, Yeshwanthpur Fly over, Tumkur Road (from Yeshwanthpur to Nagasandra), Magadi Road, Outer Ring Road (from Goraguntepalya Junction to Sumanahalli), Gubbi Thotadappa Road and Jalahalli cross Road.

All types of Heavy Goods Vehicles are prohibited on Saturday between 4 am and 10 am.

The BTP has requested the public follow the instructions and to cooperate.
