Union Bank of India’s U-Genius 2.0 a big hit
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Union Bank of India organised the U-Genius 2.0, a nationwide general awareness competition for students, in Bengaluru on Thursday.
The competition was open for students from Class 8 to 12 and was attended by 115 schools and over 900 students in Bengaluru.
Winners of the Bengaluru City round were Adithya Giri and Nidhish Palanikumar from St Paul English School, Vineet Krishna and Suhrut Rao from PSBB Learning Leadership Academy, and Ojas and Aditya from NPS HSR Layout. Minister for School Education and Literacy Madhu Bangarappa attended the event at Jnana Jyoti Auditorium and PC Raju Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Satyaban Behera, Deputy Zonal Head, Union Bank of India, Zonal Office, Bengaluru, attended the competition.
Satyaban Behera shared his delight and said, "The U-Genius 2.0 quiz competition is a great platform for students to showcase their general knowledge and problem-solving skills.”
The U-Genius 2.0 quiz competition is a part of Union Bank of India's efforts to promote financial literacy among students.
