
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday called upon Minister for Backward Classes (BCs), Kannada and Culture Shivaraj Tangadagi to be dismissed from the Cabinet on account of allegations that he approved promotions in exchange for bribes.
AAP Karnataka president Mukhyamantri Chandru was referring to the claim that 312 officials were promoted to the post of dormitory wardens in BC hostels without bringing it to the notice of the Chief Minister and the Cabinet.
Chandru on Friday wrote to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, demanding that Tangadagi be forced to resign.
