60-year-old loses life in wild elephant attack

Bengaluru: In Adiyanadur village of Somwarpet taluk, a tragic incident unfolded as a 60-year-old farmer lost his life due to a wild elephant attack on Friday.

The victim, identified as Eerappa, a resident of Adiyanadur, ventured out around 7 am in search of his cow near Gourigadde.

Unfortunately, a wild elephant emerged from the nearby forest and launched an attack on Eerappa, resulting in his untimely demise.

Forest officials have reportedly visited the location where the incident occurred.
