
KSRTC cracks down on irregularities, penalises ticketless passengers
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The KSRTC has conducted inspections of its services across both the State and neighbouring regions. In July 2023, a total of 43,698 buses underwent checks, leading to the identification of 2,748 pilferage cases.
Additionally, 2,832 ticketless passengers were penalised, resulting in the collection of fines amounting to Rs 4,46,853, and a pilferage amount of Rs 63,914 was detected.
KSRTC requests all passengers to ensure they possess valid tickets or passes.
