Intriguing courtroom drama Yathabhav unveiled

Bengaluru: The teaser of the highly anticipated film "Yathabhav," directed and produced by Gautam Basavaraju, was unveiled on the auspicious occasion of Varalakshmi festival.
The film's premise has already captured the curiosity of audiences as it promises a gripping narrative.
"Yathabhav" delves into the story of Shiva, a law student, who finds himself entangled in a complex web of accusations involving rape and murder.
The intrigue deepens as the alleged victim's father, a prominent political figure, becomes a central figure in the unfolding drama. Director Gautam Basavaraju, reflecting on the film's journey, stated, "Last year, I conceptualized the story in Hyderabad, and filming soon followed. In just 21 days, we completed the shooting. The film is a court-room drama, with around 70% of the scenes taking place within a courtroom setting. Dattanna portrays the role of a judge, while Gopalakrishna Deshpande plays a lawyer. Bal Rajwadi's portrayal of the Chief Minister's aide adds depth to the narrative. Pawan Shankar and Sahana Sudhakar have stepped into the lead roles."
The teaser launch event witnessed veteran actor Dattanna sharing his experience, "My role as a judge in the film was an engaging challenge.

Lead actors Pawan Shankar and Sahana Sudhakar expressed their gratitude for the encouraging response. Sahana Sudhakar revealed, "I play a journalist in the film and, interestingly, Gautam Basavaraju and I are long-time friends, which made this collaboration all the more special.
