Bengaluru: The action-packed film "Fighter," starring action star Vinod Prabhakar, is gearing up for an October release to coincide with the festive season.
Director Nutan Umesh shared insights about the film's progress during the teaser launch event, and excitement among fans is growing exponentially.
"The film's momentum has been consistently building with each announcement. The title reveal was orchestrated by devoted fans, and the movie was formally inaugurated by superstar Darshan. Now, with the teaser unveiled, all eyes are on the imminent release of the music album and trailer. We are steadfastly on course for our targeted October release," said Director Nutan Umesh.
Umesh elucidated that the title "Fighter" transcends mere violence and action.
"The term 'Fighter' signifies a crusader against injustice, one who fights not just for personal gain but for their family as well. In this film, Vinod Prabhakar adopts a novel appearance, and the production, helmed by Somashekhar, has been grandiose," Umesh explained.
Vinod Prabhakar, brimming with enthusiasm for the project, shared, "My character embodies the spirit of a 'fighter' challenging societal norms and ills. The poignant interplay among the father, mother, and son will resonate deeply. Combining elements of a familyoriented narrative with thrilling suspense, the film promises to captivate. The director's innovative direction has presented me in an exceptionally stylish manner, distinct from my earlier roles."
Lekha Chandra and Pavana are cast as the film's leading actresses. The upcoming highlight on the film's promotional journey is the audio launch, with high hopes pinned on the veteran composer Gurukiran's music to make a resounding impact.
