CM confirms fete for Isro scientists

Bengaluru/Bagalkot: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday confirmed scientists from Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) would be felicitated for their recent achievements at the Vidhana Soudha in the near future.

He made the statement while reacting to the successful launch of Aditya-L1 satellite, which would study the sun and the radiation it emanated.

“I would like to congratulate the ISRO scientists on the successful launch of Chandrayaan three. A felicitation ceremony would be organized by the government for ISRO scientists as a sign of appreciation,” Siddaramaiah said during his visit to Almatti dam in Bagalkot district.

Deputy Chief Minister and Water Resources Minister DK Shivakumar, District In-charge Minister MB Patil, Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, MLAs HY Matey, Yashwanth Rayagowda Patila, Ashoka Managuli, Vithala Katakadonda, MPs Ramesh Jigajinagi and PC Gaddigowdar, among others were present on the occasion.
