Miscreants assault teenager with cricket bat

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: On August 27, a teenager was brutally attacked with a cricket bat by a group of miscreants in the city.

The distressing incident unfolded near Madiwala, where the victim, identified as Ramesh, found himself chased and assaulted by the miscreants.

The motive behind the attack stemmed from allegations that Ramesh had not shown them the respect they demanded. The police swiftly responded to the incident, registering a case under IPC 307 for Attempted Murder.

They managed to apprehend one of the miscreants involved, identified as Shiva, while the other culprits remain at large. CCTV footage of the incident provides a chilling account of the attackers relentlessly pursuing Ramesh and ruthlessly striking him with a cricket bat.

Ramesh suffered severe injuries and is presently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
