Big biz coming! B'luru Tech Summit from Nov 29 to Dec 1

Bengaluru: Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS 2023), the high profile event which is expected to draw hundreds of technocrats and potential investors to the IT City, will be held from November 29 to December 1 at the Bangalore Palace.

The theme chosen for the event is “Breaking Boundaries.”

The announcement was made after a meeting between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Minister for IT-BT, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Priyank Kharge and business and industry icons like Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Kris Gopalakrishnan.

This is probably the first ambitious event the Congress government will be holding after assuming power in Karnataka in May this year.

Kharge announced at a press conference that BTS 2023 will be a diverse and enriching event encompassing a multi-track conference on IT & Electronics, Deep Tech, Start-Ups & Biotech, an International Exhibition, Global Innovation Alliance, an IndiaUSA Tech Conclave, B2B Meetings, STPI IT Export Awards, Smart Bio Awards, Startup Recognition, a Rural IT Quiz and a Bio Quiz.

The multi-track conference will focus on emerging tech including AI & DeepTech, Quantum Computing & 6G, Semiconductors and Electronics Manufacturing, Gaming & e-sports, Future Mobility, Climate Tech, Social Entrepreneurship, and Bio-tech for sustainability and Health Tech Innovations.

The schedule for the 2024 and 2025 Tech Summit editions have also been announced; they will be between November 19 and 21 in both years, disclosed Kharge who added that this is being done to encourage international tech organisations to ensure their participation well in advance.
