BBMP orders meat ban on Shri Krishna Janmashtami

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Monday issued a circular banning the sale of meat across Bengaluru on Shri Krishna Janmashtami on September 6.

Slaughter of animals and sale of meat will be banned in BBMP limits on Wednesday.

The BBMP has also ordered the closure of abattoirs and slaughterhouses in the city on the occasion of Janmashtami.
