Father kills 14-month-old baby in Raichur

Raichur, NT Bureau: In a tragic incident in Kanasaviya village, Lingasugur Taluk, a father has been accused of killing his 14-month-old baby during an argument with his wife.

The alleged perpetrator, Mahantesh (32), a resident of Kanasaviya village, is said to have committed the heinous act. The victim is 14-month-old Abhinav.

Following a dispute with his wife, Mahantesh reportedly took the life of the child and concealed the body in the outskirts of Kanasaviya village.

In response, the wife, Beemavva, filed a missing person report at the Mudagal police station.

After intensive questioning, Mahantesh confessed to the crime.
