Police nab 5 drug peddlers in 2 different MDMA & heroin busts

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In two separate incidents, the city police apprehended a total of five drug peddlers involved in distributing MDMA and heroin.

The Govindraj Nagar Police apprehended Abdul Salam and confiscated 55 grams of MDMA valued at Rs 1.5 lakh, resulting in a case filed at the Govindraj Nagar Police station. In another operation, the Kodigehalli police arrested Mallesh, Nemichend Nemsa, Prakash, and Prema Ram, all hailing from Rajasthan and were caught attempting to sell heroin in Bhadrappa Layout near Hebbal.

The police seized 61 grams of heroin and impounded the vehicle used for their illicit activities.

Additionally, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police seized 400 grams of MDMA worth Rs 20 lakh and detained a Nigerian woman identified as 33-year-old Adevole Adettu Zara, who operated under the alias Aisha in Bengaluru.

She was apprehended from a hideout near Yelahanka and was revealed to be the prime suspect in seven drug-related cases registered in Mangaluru.

Zara had entered India on a student VISA and managed drug trafficking operations through associates.
