Father-son booked for leaking draft transfer list of RDPR staf

Bengaluru: Following an intensified probe into the leaked draft transfer list of Panchayat Development Officers (PDOs) recently, the Cyber Economics and Narcotics (CEN) police in the Central Division Bengaluru have booked a father-son duo in the case.

According to the police, Sridhar R and his father Narayan, both government officials, were booked for allegedly sharing a draft transfer list over WhatsApp.

Sridhar was working in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj department. It was revealed that they had transferred the draft list from the computer to their mobile phones and later shared it with some of the officers even before Chief Minister Siddaramaiah gave his formal approval to the transfers.

Currently, the fatherson is being questioned by the police regarding the matter.
