Bengaluru hosts India battery show curtain raiser

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: On September 06 morning, a launch event at The Park Bengaluru saw the introduction to the India battery show, which will be taking place at the India expo centre in Delhi Delhi-NCR, was held.

The expo is scheduled from October 04 to October 06, 2023. Organizers anticipate attracting approximately 40,000 visitors, fostering a dynamic projection of the expo so far.

The highlight of the day was, presence of some of the leading players in the Indian battery market, related to the upcoming ‘battery show India’ which has 12 premium exhibitors, such as Siemens, Saint Gobain, Log 9, Bitrode, Tessorn EV. During the curtain raiser at Bengaluru, Yogesh Mudras told the media , “The market for the battery energy storage system in India is projected to grow at a CAGR of more than 11.20% over the next five years, reaching USD 5.27 billion.”

The Government of India too is promoting battery energy storage systems (BESS).
