Winds of change in K’taka: DKS

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Sunday claimed that a “festival of change” had begun in Karnataka, referring to the May 13 Assembly election victory of the Congress. \

“India is becoming united. People are becoming aware. This festival of change has begun in Karnataka. I hope you bless us again,” Shivakumar said.

Congress had won 135 seats in the Karnataka elections. Moreover, there is hope that the Congress-led Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) would challenge the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.

He made the remarks at a cultural event of the Kerala Karnataka Samaj in Lingarajapuram.
