For the first time in Bengaluru, 'Robotic animals' to be exhibited

Bengaluru, NT Buruea: In an effort to increase public awareness of rare and extinct species, the International Robotic Birds World have planned a mega exhibition of animals made out of steel.

Most of these species are extinct and are brought back to life with the help of robotic engineers and artists. The exhibition will also feature an elephant procession, performed by a tribe from Kerala.

Their rich cultural heritage will be displayed in this exhibition. A scientific exhibition for students is also on the cards, aiming to improve scientific temper.

Students would get to know about the cultures of stone, tribal communities and the life cycle of birds. Robotic engineers Rangaswamy and Rafiq are the masterminds behind the creations.

Within a span of two months, the 20-member team put together these animals using materials such as fibre moulding, motors, steel, fur cloth & Plaster of Paris (POP). The exhibition will run from 4pm to 9pm from September 12-15.
