ASC’s Rajak Ahamed header breaks the deadlock

ASC & Center FC has defeated Young Challengers FC 3-0 in the Bangalore District Football Association super league here on Friday. Md Rajak Ahamed., Saroj Rai, and Chanambam Jotin Singh scored the all-important goals in the 48th, 73rd, and 77th minutes respectively. No goals were scored during the first half. In a game lacking in clear-cut goalscoring opportunities, Rajak’s header in the second half broke the deadlock and gave the much-needed start for ASC which brought the opposition into defensive mode. For YCFC, they couldn’t convert the opportunities into goals even though they dominated the ball for large periods of the game. They were unable to make their possession count and as a result, couldn’t score more than a goal.
In other matches, Kodagu FC beat Bangalore Independents FC 3-0 and FC Bengaluru United won against Bangalore Dream United FC-1-0.
