IIT Delhi will open a campus in Abu Dhabi

Bengaluru: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will open a campus in Abu Dhabi.

It will offer degrees from 2024 onwards. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Education and the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) in July this year.

IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus will offer artificial intelligence, computer science, energy and sustainability, healthcare and research programmes. The state news agency, WAM reported.

The MoU will aide a mutually-beneficial show in the field of research and innovation sector at emirate. And cooperation from institutions such as Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, New York University Abu Dhabi, and Technology Innovation Institute, integrated programmes and advanced research will be among major obtainable from this initiative.
