Lokayukta raids 13 city RTO amid corruption allegations

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Lokayukta officials carried out raids at 13 Regional Transport Offices (RTO) located throughout the city following allegations of corruption on Wednesday.

These raids, under the supervision of Lokayukta Justice KN Phaneendra, were conducted at RTOs in various areas such as Yeshwanthpur, Jayanagara, Indiranagar, Gnana Bharathi, Yelahanka along with others places.

The Lokayukta received reports regarding the significant involvement of middlemen in facilitating transactions with RTOs, as well as allegations that officials were showing preference for work carried out through intermediaries.
