Customs foil drug smuggling, nab foreign woman national

Bengaluru: Customs officials at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) apprehended a foreign national woman suspected of smuggling drugs worth crores, concealed in her body.

According to sources, the woman had arrivedon an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Addis Ababa.

Acting on credible information, authorities intercepted her and discovered drugs concealed in capsules, weighing a total of 1.14 kg.

Following the recovery of the capsules, Customs officials handed her over to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for further legal proceedings.
