
Traffic diversions for International Democracy Day

Bengaluru: As Inter national Democracy Day celebrations are scheduled to take place on Friday between 9:30 am and 1 pm on the grand steps of the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru, the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has issued an advisory regarding traffic diversions during the event.
According to the notification, vehicles will not be allowed to proceed from KR Circle towards Gopala Gowda Circle, and from Balekundri Circle towards KR Circle.
Vehicles coming from KR Circle will be diverted to Nrupathunga Road, and vehicles from Balekundri Circle will be rerouted towards Queens Circle.
However, vehicles heading from CTO Circle can continue towards Raj Bhavan Road, but they will not be allowed to make a left turn towards K R Circle at Police Thimmaiah Circle or onto Dr. BR Ambedkar Veedhi. Parking for the public has been arranged at Palace Grounds, especially for buses and other large goods vehicles (LGV), while other vehicles can be parked at Kanteerava Stadium, Nehru Taralaya (Planetarium), and the MS Building premises.
