Teacher's miraculous escape; survives after falling under moving train

Davanagere: In a harrowing incident, a teacher miraculously survived after falling under a goods train while attempting to cross the tracks at the city railway station.

Shivakumar, who serves as a head teacher, managed to escape unscathed. He had arrived at the railway station on Thursday, intending to commute to school by train.

Upon reaching the station's platform, instead of taking the flyover from platform 1 to platform 2, he opted to cross the railway tracks. As he was about to cross, he noticed a speeding goods train approaching. Rather than attempting to cross in front of it, he made the quick decision to lie down on the tracks.

The goods train continued on its path, and Shivakumar saved his life by remaining in the middle of the track. Railway staff members noticed the teacher in a perilous situation beneath the train and promptly halted its progress.

The RPF Police came to the rescue of the teacher, who had been trapped under the goods train. Shivakumar sustained minor injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
