BU to organise 'Reading of the Preamble' programme on International Democracy Day

Bengaluru: Bangalore University will organise a "Reading of the Preamble" program on September 15, at 11:30 am, in front of the administration office of the Jnanabharathi campus.
The program is being organised as part of the International Democracy Day celebration. The program is open to all students, faculty, and staff of Bangalore University.
Hekar Naik, who led India to its first blind cricket World Cup victory, will be the chief guest at the event. The program is an opportunity for everyone to come together and reaffirm their commitment to democracy and the Constitution.
It is also a chance to learn more about the Preamble and its significance. The Register of the university, Sheikh Latif, has urged everyone to participate in the program. He said that the program is a way to "strengthen our democracy and reaffirm our commitment to the Constitution."
The Preamble in English and Kannada Braille will be made available by #ReclaimConstitution to anyone who wants to join the program.
