Bengaluru: In an era of the fourth industrial wave, engineers have taken pivotal role in terms of leading the world. In the information age, most of the technical foundations have been performed by the engineers themselves.

Every gigantic global move has an impact on a city such as Bengaluru. Right after California, the City of Bengaluru has got the tag of ‘Silicon Valley’ (of India).

Not only that, but also has a reputation as an 'engineers hub’ across India. On the occasion of ‘Engineers’ Day’, News Trail spoke to one of the business analysts at Flipkart, Shubhrajit.

According to him, apart from Delhi, most of the start-ups are from Bengaluru.

This Bengaluru-based young business analyst also mentioned previous start-ups, which have had gigantic success today, most of them were from Bengaluru, like Swiggy, and Rapido. Shubhrajit said, “Any technological innovation across India, are tested in Bengaluru at first, which clearly shows the strength of engineers.”

Predicting the future, he said, in the upcoming days, drone delivery systems would take place across the market in Bengaluru, and the Silicon Valley of India would be the primary place, where those workshops or prototypes would be tested.

So, these examples showed the engineers’ foundation, which eventually consolidated the geographical prospect in terms of industry, he noted. Bengaluru has an opportunity of influx of investment, owing to the wide range of availability of engineers so far.

“It is because of the Bengaluru brain and intelligence, the city is growing faster than other cities,” Subhrajit said.

Eventually, talking about Flipkart, he said, that most of their white-coloured jobs are driven by engineers, Subhrajit said, “Flipkart has been trying to diversify the engineering talent to upgrade the city, as well as India, and the core strength behind that is the community of engineers.”
