
Meteorological dept forecasts 3 days of heavy rain
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast predicting heavy rain for three consecutive days, starting Tuesday, in various parts of the state.
Thundershowers are highly likely, with light to moderate rain expected in several coastal, southern hinterland, and northern hinterland locations. Wind speeds during the storm are expected to range from 30-40 kmph.
Moreover, substantial rainfall is anticipated in many regions, including Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, Vijayapura, Yadgiri, Raichur, Chitradurga, Tumakuru, Ramanagara, and Chamarajanagar districts.
Along the Karnataka coast, winds are expected to reach speeds ranging from 40-45 kmph to 55 kmph.
