BMRCL changes service schedules due to safety inspection

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: On September 21, certain alterations to Metro train services will be in effect due to the Statutory Safety Inspection of the newly constructed line between Baiyapanahalli and Krishnarajapura Metro Stations by the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (Southern Circle).

Krishnarajapura to Garudacharpalya train services will be suspended for the entire day on this section. From 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, trains from Baiyappanahalli to Indiranagar will be halted.

Regular train services will operate in the Whitefield (Kadugodi) to Garudacharpalya section. Indiranagar to Kengeri routes will be available from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Before 1:30 pm and after 4:30 pm, standard train services will resume between Baiyappanahalli and Kengeri Metro Stations, continuing until the end of revenue services at 11:00 pm.

There will be no changes to the train services on the Green Line. BMRCL commuters are to be aware of these adjustments and cooperate accordingly.

BMRCL also issued an apology for the inconvenience caused.
