Girl hangs self after verbal argument with lover

Kolar: In a tragic incident, a 20-year-old girl from Andhra Pradesh hanged herself in the Sunnakal forest area. After having lunch with her lover Hemanth Kumar, who is 22 years old, a verbal duel broke out between them.

It was reported that Hemanth asked Harshitha to get away and not to show her face again. Harshita was then later found hanging from a tree using her veil after which he raised an alarm and the forest officials informed the Royalapad police who rushed to the spot immediately.

It was later discovered that Harshita was a student from Peeleru in Andhra Pradesh and the family members of the young couple had agreed to their marriage.

They got engaged to be married a few weeks ago and had come to spend some time at the Sunnakal forest near Royalpad in Srinivasapur taluk. The Royalpad police are interrogating Hemanth Kumar and a case has been taken up.
