
Former DMK leader's aide dies in hospital
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A former DMK leader's aide who was recently attacked by a rival gang in the city, succumbed to injuries at a hospital here on Sunday. VK Guruswamy, was brutally stabbed by an armed gang at a restaurant in Banaswadi Police Station limits on the night of September 4.
Scanning the CCTV footage, the city police had made a few arrests and found that the attack was carried out due to a political rivalry. According to the sources, Guruswamy had a few criminal cases pending against him.
The attack took place when he was seated with a friend at Sukhsagar, a restaurant in Kammanahalli, here.
The gang had arrived in a car bearing Tamil Nadu registration number, Bengaluru police had said.
